Monogramming 101
1. Trust us… this is what we do.
2. Traditionally, a monogram should be as follows:
1st Initial - First Name
2nd Larger Initial - Last Name
3rd Initial - Middle Name
3. Often we will do all the letters the same size. In this case the initials should be first, middle, last. This can be a great option for men.
4. Monogramming typically takes 2-3 business days in-house. We will call you with any questions that may arise on your order.
5. Due to safety concerns, we hesitate to put full names on children’s backpacks.
6. Use 2 or 3 initials when possible. So many places now carry items with a single letter. The more personal the better.
7. If we have any questions or concerns, we will contact you before we sew the item. Not all letters look good in all the fonts.
8. We have hundreds of thread colors. We will be sure to pick the best match for the item you have chosen.
9. Be Creative. Use addresses, nicknames, the name of a lake on a set of Tervis Tumblers, a favorite drink on a cocktail napkin. Anything goes. We think this is fun, we hope you do too!
